Farewell to Steve Presser

Next week we say farewell to Steve Presser who has been a loyal member of our cleaning team for almost 10 years.  We thank Steve for his significant contribution in keeping our classrooms and amenities in pristine condition during this time, and wish Steve all the very best for his retirement.

We now have a Cleaner position available on a part-time ongoing basis, of up to 20 hours per week.  Please help us spread the word about this opportunity.  The position description is available on our website, and further information is available by emailing sbarry@moamagrammar.nsw.edu.au or phoning the school.

Multi-Purpose Stadium Update

Construction of the Multi-Purpose Stadium continues to progress according to the planned schedule.  Tiling is almost complete in the toilets and changerooms, the dance room mirrors and ballet barres are now in place, and the Tarkett sprung floor is also being installed.  Audio Visual and other internal works are being undertaken in readiness for laying the stadium floor, which will commence in early November. We hope to provide some sneak peek images in the upcoming weeks.

Extension of Green Space

Over the term break, the Primary green play space has been extended by 3200m2. Student access has been delayed by one week, as we await some further sunshine.  We have some very excited Primary school students who can’t wait to try it out this lovely new outdoor recreation space.

Gunbower Estate

We have several excursions planned to Gunbower Estate this month, including a Kindergarten Big Day Out Excursion visit next Friday and a Year 8 ‘Out and About’ overnight stay in late October.

Over the last couple of months, our Site Manager, Dean Walton, has coordinated the replacement of a significant part of the Homestead roof, which will preserve and protect the Homestead for the future.

Kind regards,
