Be Awesome Day
Be Awesome Day is tomorrow! We would love to see as many families as possible. If you are around and are able to volunteer your time to support the Prep stalls please come and see us. This will include supervising/running the stall during your time slot. Your help and your time is greatly appreciated, as the teachers will be required to support the students on the day.
Thank you to all families for your donations to support our three activities.
Upcoming Learning
Literacy
During week 5, we will begin learning about long vowel sounds in Stage 7.1, 'igh' and 'ie'. Our book of the week is 'The Highway Rat'. In week 6, we will learn the sound '-y' makes. Our book of the week is 'Monkey Puzzle'.
Our heart words will be 'put' and 'some'.
Mathematics
In week 5 and 6, we will continue our learning on subtraction. We will also revise our learning on fact families.
Topic
In week 5 and 6, we will continue the topic of 'Our Community' and begin our learning on 'Our Sustainable world, farm to table'.
In Respectful Relationships we will continue our units on Gender norms and stereotypes & Positive gender relations.
