Key Dates for 5/6 students and families
- 30th October – Be Awesome Day
- 11th November – BSE Transition Scavenger Hunt event
- 18th November – Curriculum Day
- 20th November – Swimming Program
- Week 9 (from 30th Nov) - 2027 House Captain and School Captain (TBC) interviews
Important Information
- We encourage families to continue checking Compass for upcoming events.
- Our Health sessions will be on the 24th and 26th of November.
- We will begin discussions around 2027 Leadership opportunities for Grade 5 students soon.
- Please continue to check dates for transition opportunities for your child’s secondary school. Not all transition programs are communicated with our school.
- Grade 5’s will be voting on their Grade 6 t-shirts soon. Sizing information will come later.

Upcoming Learning
Over the next fortnight we will be:
- Celebrating our ‘Side Show Alley’ for Be Awesome Day
- Continuing the Grade 6 preparation for Graduation
- Learning Algebra in Mathematics as part of our Fluid Grouping
- Continuing our unit on Economics within our Topic curriculum
- Continuing to develop our skills of Problem Solving within Respectful Relationships.
