2027 Parent Contribution Arrangements

Spring Gully Primary School complies with Parent Contributions: Policy | education.vic.gov.au. when communicating with families about schools payments.  Spring Gully Primary School would like to advise families of the voluntary  contributions, extra curricular activities and learning materials for 2027.

Schools provide students with free instruction to fulfil the standard curriculum requirements, and we want to assure you that all contributions are voluntary.

Nevertheless, the ongoing support of our families ensures that our school can offer the best possible education and support for our students.

We thank you for your support.

Contributions can be made in the office, via eftpos or on Compass.

Each year level is provided below:

Camps, Sports & Excursions Fund (CSEF)

School camps provide children with inspiring experiences in the great outdoors. Excursions encourage a deeper understanding of how the world works while sports teach teamwork, discipline and leadership.  All are a part of a healthy curriculum.

CSEF is provided by the Victorian Government to assist eligible families to cover the costs of school trips, camps and sporting activities.

If you hold a valid means-tested concession card or are a temporary foster parent, you may be eligible for CSEF.

A special consideration category also exists for asylum seeker and refugee families. The allowance is paid to the school to use towards expenses relating to camps, excursions or sporting activities for the benefit of your child.

The annual CSEF amount for 2027 is $400.00 per student for primary and secondary.

HOW TO APPLY

New applicants should fill out the form above or come into the school office to  obtain a hard copy.

You only need to complete an application form if any of the following changes have occurred:

Parents and carers are reminded that all adults require a current WWCC in order to volunteer in classrooms, canteen, attend camps and excursions.

WWCC are valid for 5 years and are free for volunteers to apply for.  You can apply, renew and check your existing status by visiting https://www.workingwithchildren.vic.gov.au/ .

We regularly  encourage volunteers in classrooms and on excursions (when we can). Even if it is not something you have previously considered, it can be useful to have and we encourage you to apply.
