Children's Book Week 2026  

The countdown is on to Children’s Book Week which we will be celebrating in Week 7 this term. This year our much-anticipated Book Week Parade will be held on Friday 28th August and we are excited for another wonderful day of fun and seeing the amazing costumes that our students come up with.  

We have started introducing our Primary Students to the CBCA shortlisted books with the Picture Story books Derek and Bob and Dob. The students particularly love the character Derek who is a little fish with lots of big questions.

Scholastic Book Club 

A reminder that Issue 5 of Scholastic Book Club has gone home and orders are due back today. Here is the link if your catalogue didn’t make it home. Issue 5 

Every online LOOP order earns a $5 discount for next issue, and Scholastic are also running a Spider Man competition for any superhero lovers, with 50 double passes to the new movie up for grabs.
