From the Principal

Dear Parents, Carers and Members of the St Augustine’s College Community,

Welcome back to Term 3. I hope everyone enjoyed a restful break and has returned refreshed for what promises to be another exciting and rewarding term at St Augustine's College.

Term 3 is always one of our busiest terms, with a wonderful mix of learning, sporting, faith and community events that provide opportunities for every student to be involved and to grow.

This week, families of students in Years 3, 5, 7 and 9 will receive their child's 2026 NAPLAN results. I am delighted to share that our results are overwhelmingly positive and reflect the hard work of our students, the expertise and dedication of our staff and the strong partnership we enjoy with our families. While NAPLAN is only one measure of achievement, these results are an encouraging affirmation of the excellent learning taking place across our College.

The term ahead is filled with exciting opportunities. We begin with the F–6 Athletics Carnival before students participate in the VET Taster Day and our talented athletes compete at the Waranga Athletics Carnival. August also brings our CESL Staff Spirituality Day, Science Week, Children's Book Week, the 7–12 Athletics Carnival and the return of the Dental Van.

One of the highlights of the term will be our celebration of St Augustine's Feast Day in Week 7, where we gather as a faith community to celebrate our patron saint. This week will also include Subject Teacher Conversations and the ever-popular Book Week Parade. In September, we look forward to the Lone Pine Ceremony, our Beaut Blokes Breakfast and Father's Day Mass, Father's Day Stall, Campaspe Athletics Carnival, St Augustine's Got Talent and Year 10 Work Experience, ensuring there is something for every student to look forward to.

I would also like to congratulate the many students who continue to achieve outstanding success both inside and outside the College. Whether representing St Augustine's in sport, performing arts, academic pursuits or community activities, our students continue to demonstrate talent, commitment and excellent character. We are incredibly proud of the way they represent themselves, their families and our College.

Thank you for your continued support of St Augustine's College. I encourage all students to embrace the opportunities this term presents, challenge themselves and make the most of everything our wonderful school has to offer.
