Congratulations Jayden!

Lakes Entrance Secondary College would like to congratulate Jayden Hayes on successfully securing a School-Based Apprenticeship and Traineeship (SBAT) in Certificate II in Supply Chain Operations.

This is an exciting opportunity for Jayden to combine his secondary schooling with paid employment and nationally recognised training, allowing him to gain valuable industry experience while continuing his studies at LESC.

The Head Start program supports students undertaking apprenticeships and traineeships while at school. Through Head Start, students can develop practical workplace skills, build industry connections, earn an income and work towards a qualification that supports their future career aspirations.

SBATs provide students with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a real workplace environment while continuing to work towards their VCE or VCE Vocational Major studies.

We are proud of Jayden for taking this important step towards his future career and wish him every success as he begins his journey in the supply chain and logistics industry.

Students interested in learning more about School-Based Apprenticeships and Traineeships are encouraged to visit the Careers Office, located next to the Year 12 room, to discuss the opportunities available and how an SBAT could support their future career pathway.
