Industrial Action Update

The Australian Education Union (AEU) is currently in the process of negotiating a new Victorian Government Schools Agreement on behalf of its members.

These negotiations focus on a range of matters including workload, working conditions, staffing support and salary improvements for educators and education support staff across Victorian government schools.

As part of this process, members may take part in protected industrial action from time to time. Any action taken is part of the formal bargaining process and is conducted in accordance with the relevant industrial relations framework.

We appreciate the support and understanding of our school community during this period. Our shared priority remains ensuring the best possible learning environment for students while supporting the staff who work tirelessly to provide quality education every day.
