Saturday 6th June - OLSC St Andrew's Parish Mass, 6pm
Friday 19th June - School Mass, 9am
Sunday 21st June - First Eucharist Group 2/Community Mass, 10am
Please keep in your prayers the students from OLSC who will be celebrating the Sacrament of First Eucharist this Sunday and on Sunday 21st June. The celebrations will be part of the next two Community Masses. We invite our entire school community to join us for these very special celebrations.
We kindly request that our First Communicants arrive no later than 15 minutes before the start of Mass - this will ensure they can collect their sacramental stole and pin, direct their families to their seats, and participate in the opening procession.
A wonderful way to prepare to receive Jesus in the Eucharist is to arrive early and spend some moments in prayer. We encourage you to arrive early so that you can prepare your hearts for the special gift of Jesus.

This year, at the request of Bishop Martin, the Sacrament of Confirmation will be celebrated with the other schools of our Parish. OLSC students will be Confirmed with students from St John the Apostle and Bethany Primary Schools. This will be held at MacKillop College, at 1pm on Saturday 8th August.
Your child is preparing for the Sacrament as part of their Religious Education studies this term and next. An important part of this preparation is the participation in a Family Sacramental Evening. This will take place Wednesday 29th July in the OLSC Sports Centre, from 6.30-7.30pm. Attendance at this evening is compulsory, as the program is designed to deepen the faith and understanding of all within the family to allow the Sacrament to be celebrated with reverence and understanding.
We also request that you attend the two Community Masses prior to Confirmation, 21st June and 19th July, as part of the preparation for your child’s Sacrament. The Community Masses are held in the OLSC Sports Centre at 10am.
As part of their preparation for the Sacrament, candidates will be receiving the Sacrament of Reconciliation at school, on Wednesday 29th July as part of their Spirituality Day. We request that all candidates be present at school that day.

This year, the OLSC community is invited to attend the Mass at St Andrew's on the evening of Saturday 6th of June, at 6pm. This is an opportunity to be present together as a school community in our Parish church. If your child is interested in reading or bringing forward the offertory gifts at this Mass, please contact John.
This year, Community Masses will be run all the way through the year on every third Sunday of the month. The dates are below - we invite everyone to join us during 2026 for these Masses, as we continue to build up this faith community.

We encourage you to spread the word of our Community Masses and invite as many family, friends, neighbours and others to these celebrations.
