Year 4 Mill Valley Ranch Camp

As we pulled up to camp, I couldn’t contain my excitement! It really felt like I was in the olden days! The cabins were so cosy, and we got to be with our friends! All my cabin mates were so enthusiastic to keep our cabin clean. The food was delicious and for breakfast we had waffles! I couldn’t wait to do horse riding and learning the horses’ names! Even the clean-up duty after dinner was fun! I loved the group I was in and all the challenges we faced at the low ropes course! Camp was the best!

As we were getting ready to go to sleep, we were planning to stay up. Once we were ready, we climbed up to our bunks as the teacher told us to go to sleep. Some people went to sleep straight away. Others just stayed up. Camp was so fun. Especially when we met the horses. I loved grooming a horse named Casino and riding a horse called Creamy. She never went on the ramp without help. Camp was amazing and so much fun.

Camp was an amazing experience. My favourite activities were horse riding and craft class. I rode a horse called Roxy and he was the sweetest horse. In craft class I made an avocado key ring. It was a bit confusing at first but then I got the hang of it, after a little help from the delightful staff, and my friends. All in all, camp was amazing.

My favourite thing at camp was horse riding and the horse’s name was Honeybun. We did archery and I nearly got a bullseye! I really liked the waffles because they were delicious.
