2026 SWIMMING CARNIVAL

The St Mary MacKillop College Inter-House Swimming Carnival has been held again at the Swan Hill Outdoor Pool on Thursday 12th February 2026.

It was wonderful to see so many students swimming and cheering for their Houses. A massive thank you to the Senior and Junior House Captains who helped organise all the sign-ups for the day. 

In the end it was Xavier who took home the Inter-House Cup, reclaiming the coveted south side of the pool.  Xavier also claimed the Swimming Carnival double winning the House Spirit award thanks to their boisterous efforts throughout. 

A big thank you to all staff who assisted before and during the day and also to the students for participating and showing great team spirit and camaraderie all around.

For the successful students, the next stage will be the Swan Hill District Swimming Carnival which will be held on Monday 23rd February, more information will come to those successful soon.

16yr Male 50m Butterfly – 29.44 seconds (This 28-year old record was previously held by Kieran O’Dwyer which had been held from 1998 with a time of 32.04 seconds) 

Overall results: 

1st place: Xavier  House 2357 points 

2nd place: Solomon House 2180 points 

3rd place: Tenison House 2090 points 

4th place: Woods House 1860 points
