YEAR 10 PATHWAYS - WORK EXPERIENCE PREPARATION
MRS SALLY LOONEY & ANNA STEICKE - PATHWAYS TEAM

Our Year 10 students have begun the year by exploring potential work experience opportunities. While the first group will not commence work experience just yet, it is important that students start considering their options early and begin discussions with parents, guardians, family members, and personal networks about possible placements.
Students will be supported through their Pathways classes, where they will learn how to prepare for work experience, develop an understanding of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) requirements, explore suitable placement options, and complete all necessary documentation.

Students are currently completing their Safe@Work modules, which are a compulsory requirement prior to undertaking work experience.
Students intending to undertake work experience within the trade industry are required to hold a White Card which is an additional cost.
To assist with this, the school will be running a White Card course for interested students. Expressions of interest close on Monday, 16 February. Families will be contacted with further details following this date.
