STEM Leaders Day
by Michelle Stephenson
On Tuesday 12th August, 10 of our up and coming year 10 girls concluded their journey in becoming STEM leaders. This program, which is associated with RMIT, enabled them to enhance their leadership skills as well as their knowledge of STEM in general.
The final day had them teaching junior students from both primary and secondary school a variety of experiments related to pharmacy.
The students investigated how much vitamin C was in different juices, how antiacids, both liquid and tablet form, work on the body and also compared various emulsions.
Our students did a stellar job with their leadership – Well done!
