Careers Expo
Years 10-12, by Kasandra Rzasowski
Senior students from year 10 to year 12 were invited to attend the Victorian Schools Careers Expo, students had the chance to talk with universities, TAFE and industry professionals to find out about courses and how best to go about setting up their pathways for the future. Some of our VCE students also had the chance to attend lectures to support their studies for End of year exams. All students had a great day leaving with freebees like the Deakin Pink Bucket hats. Well done and thanks to Mr Cook for attending with us.
Our year 12 Health and Human Development students attended the Melbourne Museum Road to Zero immersion. The excursion supported their studies for this Area of Study for Health. Students were welcomed by the TAC team at the Museum who went over some of the key skills and knowledge for HHD.
Before students went off into groups and worked through problems and initiatives that have been put on place to decrease Road Toll incidents across Victoria. Thanks to the Melbourne Museum for running an interactive experience to support students.
