Our 2026 Student Leadership Team enjoyed a highly successful Conference Day on the 24th of February, marking an exciting beginning to the year ahead.

The day provided students with a valuable opportunity to reflect on the purpose of leadership and the positive impact student voice can have within a school community. A highlight of the program was hearing from Maddi and Georgia, two of the founders of It’s Okay Not to Be Okay, who spoke with students about the importance of using leadership as a way to strengthen communities, support others, and create meaningful change.

Students were also pleased to take part in a special welcome and badge presentation delivered by Chris Crewther MP for Mornington. This was a significant moment for our student leaders, recognising both their commitment to the role and the responsibility they will carry throughout the year.

Following these sessions, students worked collaboratively in portfolio, year-level, and mentoring teams to identify key priority areas for 2026. These discussions focused on a range of important goals, including fundraising initiatives, student activities, goal-setting, and promoting College Values across the school. It was encouraging to see students engaging thoughtfully with these priorities and beginning to shape a clear vision for the year ahead.

Congratulations to all students involved for the enthusiasm, maturity, and leadership they demonstrated throughout the day. We look forward to seeing this team continue to grow and to the positive contribution they will make across the College in 2026.
