Congratulations to new SBAT Student
Congratulations to Lochlan C (Year 11) who signed up and commenced his Head Start school-based apprenticeships (SBAT) with employer KRE Industries on 06/03/2026 and is now completing his Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician.
The Head Start program will support Lochlan as he embarks on his SBAT journey commencing his qualification certificate, attending work with his employer, and also working towards completing his studies at school. Faith Kisby, Head Start Coordinator, and the Head Start team, wish Lochlan all the best as he pursues his chosen career pathway.
Congratulations to Kobee C (Year 11) who signed up and commenced his Head Start school-based apprenticeships (SBAT) with employer New Tech Building Group PTY LTD on 11/03/2026 and is now completing his Certificate III in Carpentry.
Congratulations to Joshua P (Year 12) who signed up and commenced his Head Start school-based apprenticeships (SBAT) with employer Reece Warehouse Somerville on 11/03/2026 and is now completing his Certificate III in Supply Chain Operations.
The Head Start program will support Kobee and Joshua as they embark on their SBAT journeys commencing their qualification certificates, attending work with their employers, and also working towards completing their studies at school. 115th International Women's Day 2026
In celebration of the 115th International Women's Day 2026, where the theme is 'Give to Gain', we are celebrating the young women across the Bayside Peninsula Area who are working in School-based Apprenticeships or Traineeships (SBATs) in their respective industries. We currently have 28 young women signed-up and commencing their apprenticeship or traineeship in industries such as: Electrical; Brick and Blocklaying; Light and Heavy Vehicle Mechanical Technology; Engineering Metal Fabrication; Carpentry; Hairdressing; Early Childhood Education and Care; Racing (Trackwork Rider); Baking; and Cake and Pastry.
