New Wave 2025 Graduate Exhibition at Mornington Regional Gallery

On Saturday Staci Smart our Art and Creative Practice teacher attended the opening for the New Wave 2025 Graduate Exhibition at Mornington Regional Gallery . 

One of our amazing artistic geniuses, current Year 12 student, Mia Jones has her Mixed Media work, “Held Memories” on display as part of New Wave. Mia was selected to exhibit her work for two different exhibitions, so it was a tough choice.

This is a wonderful accomplishment and experience for her as her work was seen by many members of the community. There were 3 exhibition openings held at the same time with large numbers attending, and her work will be viewed by hundreds more as it is on show at the Gallery until the 31st of May.

It was such an amazing thrill to attend the New Wave opening to see her work on display in a public gallery and congratulate her on all her hard work and dedication to her VCE studies in Art Creative Practice.

EMERGENT at BUNJIL PLACE 5 – 22 March 2026

Each year, Emergent Graduate Exhibition and Film Screening presents the next wave of artists, designers and filmmakers from the City of Casey Region. 

3 of our amazing talented students have been accepted into this exhibition and their works are on display.

The outstanding talent of VCE and VET visual art, design, fashion and media students is showcased in a professional setting at Bunjil Place.
