Good luck Yr 12
Wishing our Year 12 cohort the very best as they prepare to undertake their Higher School Certificate (HSC) examinations, commencing on Tuesday, October 13.
These upcoming examinations represent the culmination of thirteen years of schooling, reflecting dedication, perseverance, and academic commitment. We encourage all students to approach this final assessment period with confidence, drawing upon their preparation and remaining focused throughout.
The entire school community extends its support to the Class of 2026 and wishes them every success in their examinations.
HSC Examination Reminders
Students are reminded to carefully check their individual HSC examination timetables to confirm all exam dates, times, and room allocations. Please ensure you arrive with the correct equipment required for each paper, strictly following NESA rules and guidelines.
If you are unable to attend an examination due to illness or unforeseen misadventure, you must contact the school immediately on the morning of the exam to initiate the illness/misadventure application process.
HSC results will be officially released on Wednesday, 16 December via Students Online, with ATAR notifications issued by UAC on the same day. We advise all Year 12 students to ensure their NESA Students Online contact details are correct and that the PIN details are stored securely. Further details regarding post-results support and university preference advice will be shared closer to the date.
Yr 11 Beginning Yr 12 2027
In Term 4 Year 11 students officially commence their Higher School Certificate (HSC) course of study, marking a significant step in their educational journey. We encourage all students to enter this final phase of schooling with clear goals, strong study habits, and a proactive approach to learning. Over the coming weeks, staff will work closely with students to ensure they fully understand all HSC assessment rules, expectations, and NESA procedures. We wish the Class of 2027 all the best as they begin HSC courses.

Year 10 Exams
Our Year 10 students will sit their end-of-year exams in Term 4 during Week 2. Assessments will take place for English, HSIE, Science, RE, Maths, and PDHPE.
For some of our students, sitting a formal exam block is a new experience and will be an opportunity to build confidence and study skills for senior schooling. We encourage students to reach out to their subject teachers over the coming weeks to ask questions, check in on key topics, and get tailored advice on effective study and preparation techniques.
Attending Tuesday Study Club can also support students with exam preparation. Additionally, we encourage parents and carers to chat with their students at home about setting up a good study routine.
Elective choices Yrs 8/9
In Week 1 of Term 4, students in Years 8 and 9 will select their elective subjects for the 2027 timetable. At that time, information will be shared with families regarding course offerings, and the online submission process. We encourage parents and carers to discuss these choices with their children to support them in making informed decisions about their learning pathways.
