School Council 2026

School Council Update August 2026
Welcome to the fourth edition of the Le Page Primary School Council update for 2026.
Just a reminder that this update aims to create an open line of communication with School Council and the important work it does for the growth, promotion and development of our school. School Council’s role is to make decisions that set our school’s direction and ensures the school is run with the best interest of all our students.
What was on our Agenda.
- Discussed prep enrolment numbers for 2027 and the possibility of taking part in a kindergarten partnership pilot project.
- Reviewed and discussed NAPLAN results, a summary will be shared shortly. We had some really great results.
- Discussed the possibility of a new mural as an artist has approached the school with a proposal.
- New bike shed location and timing of this project will be done before term 1 in 2027. This money was obtained from the successful SRL grant.
- We still haven’t received any update from the VSBA on when the Gould League will be relocated to the northern section of the school. Once details are known we will send through an updated.
