Year 7/8

Junior Sub-School students are enjoying the last quarter of the year.

Our Year 8 students are looking forward to their transition to the Middle School, beginning in Week 8 with the Step Up Program. Meanwhile, the Year 7s are celebrating their first successful year at the college and are excited to begin their Year 8 journey soon.

Year 8 classes will be attending the Casey Tech Discovery Program from 14th to 20th November, where they will gain hands-on experience in the STEAM program. This initiative introduces students to the evolving world of work and highlights the key STEAM skills that will be essential for future careers. Students will participate in three 75-minute workshops, each designed to provide engaging, practical experiences showcasing cutting-edge technologies and innovative problem-solving.

On 8th December, Junior School students will enjoy their End-of-Year Celebration Excursions — Year 7s will head to Gravity Zone in Seaford, while Year 8s will have fun at the Springvale Indoor Sports Centre.

Year 8 Pat Cronin Foundation Guest Speaker

A guest speaker from the Pat Cronin Foundation recently visited our Year 8 students to deliver an empowering presentation. The presentation was about social violence and how one punch to the head can end someone’s life. The foundation challenged our students around violence prevention and being the bigger person by removing yourself from situations that may be dangerous. By sharing Pat's story and equipping our students with valuable strategies, the foundation inspired them to become proactive agents of change in creating safer and more compassionate communities. We are grateful for the foundation's impactful contribution to our students' personal development and look forward to continuing our partnership.
