This Week at TeamKids

We’ve had another fun-filled and creative week in the program, with children enthusiastically engaging across a wide variety of experiences! It has been so lovely to see the excitement around the introduction of our new clubs, particularly Slime Club, where children worked together to create colourful slime creations using sparkles, beads, and lots of teamwork. Pokémon Club was also a huge hit, with children designing their own Pokémon cards and sharing their imaginative ideas with peers.

Throughout the week, children have enjoyed a fantastic balance of active and creative experiences. Outdoor games such as Defend the Zone, football skill challenges, dribbling games, and playground obstacle courses encouraged teamwork, persistence, and confidence, while our creative and sensory experiences allowed children to explore, experiment, and express themselves in different ways.

A highlight of the week was our Potion Lab Experiments, where children explored colour mixing and sensory science using bicarbonate soda and droppers to create their own “potions.” We also loved seeing children engage in meaningful community and cultural experiences through activities such as our Kodomo no Hi Fish Craft, Mother’s Day Portraits, and Helping Hands Poster for World Red Cross Day.

Overall, it has been a week full of creativity, collaboration, movement, and connection. We are so proud of the way children have supported one another, embraced new experiences, and continued building positive relationships throughout the program. We can’t wait for another exciting week ahead! ✨
