Reflecting on an Amazing Year in Careers and Pathways

As 2025 draws to a close, we look back with pride and gratitude on an incredible year in the Careers and Pathways space. It has been a year filled with opportunities, growth, and meaningful engagement with our Senior School students.

From Year 9 Morrisby testing and Mock Interviews, to Year 10 Work Experience and university/TAFE tours, we’ve loved supporting students as they explore their interests and begin shaping their futures.

For our Year 12 students, the focus shifted to planning for life beyond school—navigating VTAC applications, considering pathways, and preparing for the next exciting chapter. A highlight of the year was our inaugural Aviation Camp, which gave students a unique insight into the world of aviation and sparked new aspirations.

As we celebrate these achievements, we also mark a significant transition within the Careers team. Jessie Dennison will be moving on to a new role at another government school in 2026. Jessie has been an integral part of our Careers program, bringing passion, expertise, and unwavering commitment to supporting students as they explore their pathways. We thank Jessie for the commitment she has shown our students over the past few years in this role.

Looking ahead to 2026, we are delighted to welcome Tanya Notman to the team. Tanya will join Tim Knowles as one of our Careers Practitioners, bringing fresh energy and expertise to continue supporting our students in their journey toward bright futures.

Thank you to all students, families, and staff for your engagement and support throughout 2025. Here’s to another year of inspiring pathways and possibilities!
