Head of Instrumental Music

Our younger music students performed (for their first time back in the theatre) as part of the 2025 Junior & Intermediate Concert in early November!

Celebrating a big year of music lessons, ensembles and practice, the diverse program kicked off with the Highvale Secondary College Intermediate String Ensemble and finished up with the Intermediate Concert band. It was particularly great seeing so many students who have only started their musical journey in 2025 showcase their efforts to a full house!

We also saw several soloists and small ensembles perform, in many cases organised by the students themselves, demonstrating excellent initiative and collaborative skills. A massive congratulations to all of our hard-working performers, stage crew and organisers, with a particular big thanks to all of our Instrumental Music Teachers, Chris Mitchell and Aysha McCoy for their efforts bringing it all together!
