A Year of celebrations!
As the year draws to a close, we would like to share how Highvale Secondary College has been recognising and celebrating the great choices our students make every day through the School-Wide Positive Behaviour Support (SWPBS) framework.
SWPBS is a whole-school approach that helps create a positive and supportive learning environment. It enhances student behaviour, wellbeing, and academic outcomes by focusing on prevention and using school resources effectively.
Our Green Chronicles are now part of our House Points system! Each Green Chronicle earned contributes directly to a student’s House total, providing a meaningful way to acknowledge students who consistently demonstrate our college values.
So far this semester, our students have achieved an impressive number of Green Chronicles:
Bunjil – 314,
Burrimul – 289,
Kaan – 286, and
Marrum – 298.
We’re proud of the positive choices our students are making every day.
Well done to all students who have contributed. Green Chronicles earned in Term 4 will continue to contribute to House Points for next year, so there is still plenty of opportunity for students to help their House succeed.
We’re proud of the positive culture growing at Highvale Secondary College and of our students for modelling our college values.
