Last week we were delighted to celebrate our Foundation Family Fun Day with our newest students and families. It was a fantastic day filled with excitement and lots of fun and laughter. The highlight for many was the magician’s show, which had students (and adults alike) amazed, laughing and fully engaged from beginning to end. It was wonderful to see the sense of wonder and joy across the room as tricks unfolded and students eagerly participated.

The celebrations continued with an energetic African drumming session, where students, parents and teachers joined together to create music, rhythm and movement. The enthusiasm and participation from everyone made this a truly special community experience. Moments like these help build confidence, connection and a strong sense of belonging for our youngest learners as they settle into school life.

Thank you to our staff for organising such a memorable day and to our families who joined us and contributed to the positive and welcoming atmosphere.

Special events such as Foundation Fun Day play an important role in helping students feel safe, confident and excited about school, while also strengthening the partnership between home and school. Bringing families, staff and students together through shared experiences helps build strong relationships and fosters the sense of belonging that sits at the heart of our school community. We look forward to many more special events and celebrations throughout the year, including our upcoming Harmony Day celebrations at the end of March, which provide valuable opportunities for us to come together to learn, celebrate and grow as a connected and supportive school community.
