Pathways at LESC

New Online Portal for Work Experience (WE) and Structured Workplace Learning (SWL).

We are pleased to let families and students know that Lakes Entrance Secondary College is transitioning to an online portal for Work Experience (WE) and Structured Workplace Learning (SWL).

The new system will make the process much easier for students, families and employers. Students will now be able to organise their placements, complete required forms and track approvals through the online portal, rather than relying on paper forms.

Moving to an online platform will help streamline communication between the school, students and employers, ensure all documentation is completed correctly and allow the Careers team to monitor placements more efficiently.

Further information about how to access and use the portal will be shared with students and families soon. 

Students who are planning Work Experience or SWL placements this year will receive guidance on how to submit their details through the new system.

Aviation Taster Day

Students also have an exciting opportunity coming up with an Aviation Taster Day.

This hands-on experience will give students an insight into careers within the aviation industry and the training pathways available. 

During the day students will have the chance to learn more about aviation, explore potential career options and gain a better understanding of what working in the industry might involve.

Opportunities like this help students explore different career pathways and discover areas they may wish to pursue in the future.

Students interested in attending the Aviation Taster Day or wanting to learn more about Work Experience or SWL should speak with Vanessa or Mrs Falk.
