Secondary School Immunisation Program – Important Information

Parents and guardians of Year 7 and Year 10 students should keep an eye out for information about the 2026 Secondary School Immunisation Program.

The Secondary School Immunisation Program offers free vaccines from the National Immunisation Program schedule to all eligible students.

Year 7 students will be offered:

• Diphtheria-tetanus-pertussis (whooping cough)

• Human papillomavirus (HPV)

Year 10 students will be offered:

• Meningococcal ACWY

Families will receive information outlining the vaccines and instructions on how to complete the online consent process. Please read the information carefully and submit the consent form once available. 

Consent must be submitted even if you do not want your child to receive the vaccination.

Vaccinations will take place at the College on Thursday 23 April and will be administered by qualified nurse immunisers from the local council immunisation service.

All vaccinations will be recorded in the Australian Immunisation Register and will appear on your child’s immunisation history statement. 

Any personal information shared with the local council immunisation service will be managed in accordance with privacy laws and will only be used for the purpose of delivering the immunisation program.
