AngliSchools Vision for Learning

At our College, teaching and learning are guided by the AngliSchools Vision for Learning - a shared framework that shapes how students grow as learners and as individuals.

This vision draws on research and best practice to define high‑quality learning, focusing not only on academic achievement but also on how students think, engage and develop key learner attributes. It ensures strong alignment between curriculum, teaching, and assessment, supporting a consistent and purposeful learning experience.

The Vision for Learning is being implemented over time, with a trajectory through to 2030. This includes the ongoing development of assessment and reporting of learner attributes to Year 10, with approaches in the senior years determined by the College. This work aligns closely with our School Strategic Plan, ensuring a thoughtful and future‑focused approach.

What does this mean for your child?

  • Learning that goes beyond content to develop thinking, character and independence
  • Greater opportunities to engage deeply, apply knowledge and reflect on learning
  • A consistent focus on learner attributes such as collaboration, courage and curiosity
  • Teaching and assessment that supports growth, progress and individual needs

As we continue this journey, we look forward to partnering with families to support each student to thrive as a confident, capable and connected learner.
