Performing Arts Showcase

The school community is warmly invited to attend our upcoming Performing Arts Showcase on Tuesday, 24 June, commencing at 6:00pm.

This special evening will celebrate the creativity, dedication and talent of our students, featuring performances from all co-curricular music, dance and drama groups, as well as students studying elective music. Audiences can look forward to a diverse program showcasing the hard work and achievements of our performers throughout the semester.

From dynamic dance routines and dramatic performances to outstanding musical presentations, the showcase promises to be an entertaining and memorable event for family and friends.

To make the evening even more enjoyable, a BBQ will be available from 5:30pm, providing attendees with the opportunity to purchase dinner before the performances begin.

We encourage all members of our school community to come along, support our students and enjoy an evening of exceptional performing arts. Tickets must be pre-purchased using the following link:

Strings Day

Our String Orchestra students were thrilled to by joined by violinist Michael Loftus-Hills last Thursday. Michael is a violinist with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, and is a trained Alexander Technique practitioner and educator.

We had a wonderful day of string tutorials, masterclasses and finally a performance in the auditorium for parents and students.

Mrs. Swan and Mrs. Chambers were so proud of the effort our students put into this day, and were just blown away by their wonderful performance.

We would like to thank Michael (and Bob the Skeleton) for travelling from Melbourne for this special day!

Open to orchestral and band musicians of all ages and abilities, from beginners through to experienced players aged 8 to 80 (and sometimes above), come and spend a week learning and making music together! The best way to learn music is to be immersed in it. For a week, you live and breathe music — nothing else.

2026 Camp runs Sunday 5 July - Saturday 11 July 2026 at The Scots School Albury.
