Max Beattie - Class of 2021
Congratulations to former student Max Beattie (Class of 2021) on his selection by the Hawthorn Football Club in the 2026 AFL Mid-Season Rookie Draft!
Max’s hard work and dedication have earned him this exciting opportunity at AFL level, and we are incredibly proud to see him take this next step in his football journey.
Max's 2021 Yearbook entry stated:
"Max commenced his education journey at Trinity in 2016 as a Year 7 student. Max's favourite memories are the various camps he has been on with his peers
In 2022, Max would like to pursue his football career to see how far this will take him. We wish him well on his endeavours"
Wishing you every success with the Hawks Max!

Sarah McDiarmid - Class of 2018
We are delighted to celebrate the achievements of alumna Sarah McDiarmid (Class of 2018), who has recently been awarded the prestigious Manuel Gelman Award for Teaching Excellence in Music as part of her Master of Teaching studies at the University of Melbourne's Faculty of Education.
The award is made possible through the generosity of the late Sylvia Gelman AM MBE in honour of her late husband, Manuel Gelman Chevalier de la Légion d’Honneur, and recognises excellence in music education.
Sarah expressed her gratitude for the support and guidance of her music education lecturers, Dr Emily Wilson and Dr Sue Arney, throughout her studies. She was also honoured to be invited to perform at the award presentation event, making the occasion even more memorable.
As Sarah prepares to complete her studies and begin her teaching career, she is excited to inspire young people and foster a lifelong love of music in future generations.
Reflecting on the power of music, Sarah shared a favourite quote from Bono: "Music can change the world because it can change people."
Congratulations, Sarah, on this outstanding achievement. We are incredibly proud of all you have accomplished and look forward to seeing the positive impact you will make as an educator.
