LESC Bean & Brew is Open for Business! ☕

A new addition to life at LESC is already proving to be a hit with LESC staff.

Earlier this year, our VCE - VM students completed their barista training, and they are now putting those skills into practice through LESC Bean & Brew, our student run coffee service. The name and logo were developed by our students, with the logo creatively designed by Shane P.

Operating from the canteen gymnasium window, LESC Bean & Brew is run by our VM students on a roster from Monday to Wednesday before school, at recess and during lunchtime, giving them valuable hands-on experience in customer service, teamwork, organisation and food preparation.

From Thursday to Friday, the coffee machine is opened up to interested Year 9 and 10 students, providing them with an opportunity to learn new skills and gain practical experience in a real-world setting.

The initiative has quickly become a favourite among LESC staff, with students producing a range of café style drinks while building confidence and developing workplace-ready skills.

Opportunities like LESC Bean & Brew are a fantastic example of the practical learning experiences available through our Vocational Major program, helping students connect classroom learning with real life applications.

We congratulate all of the students involved and look forward to seeing LESC Bean & Brew continue to grow. ☕💙

Updated Canteen Menu 🍎🥪

We are excited to share our updated canteen menu with students and families.

The menu includes a range of recess and lunchtime options, along with hot food, snacks and drinks available throughout the week.

✅ Lunch orders can be placed at recess for easy collection at lunchtime.

We have attached a PDF version that can be downloaded, printed and popped on the fridge for easy reference at home.
