Student Wellbeing

From 17th to 21st August 2026, LESC will proudly support Bullying No Way: National Week of Action.

This national campaign brings together schools and communities across Australia to promote bullying prevention and create environments where all young people feel safe, supported and respected.

The theme for this year is "Small Acts, Big Impact." It reminds us that even the smallest acts of kindness, inclusion and support can make a significant difference in someone's day. Whether it's checking in on a friend, including someone in an activity, speaking up, or seeking help from a trusted adult, small actions can have a lasting positive impact.

Bullying prevention is everyone's responsibility. It takes students, families, school staff and the wider community working together to create a culture where bullying is not accepted and where kindness and respect are valued.

Throughout the week, we encourage our students to think about the positive difference they can make through their words and actions and to continue supporting one another both in and out of school.

Families are encouraged to read the attached guide and discuss the importance of respectful relationships, online safety and seeking help when needed.
