Year 10 News  

Year 10 students have received their subjects for Year 11 via email this week.

It is important the year 10 students check their selection carefully, have a further conversation with the Year 10 teachers, and discuss the decision with their parents/guardians once again. Remember, students will probably continue into year 12 with most of these subjects so this is a vital decision.

If students would like to request a change to any of their subjects, there will be a two-week period to submit a request to the Student Managers. The paperwork is available from the Year 10 SM office and will be numbered upon receipt for fairness. The due date is Friday 31st October.

A detailed educational reason for the change is needed and, of course, we require signatures from the student and a parent/carer. Make sure this is a well thought out decision as it won't be possible to change back again.

Remember, we have planned the subjects for next year around the web preferences that were submitted last term. Therefore, it may happen that the subject change requested is not possible as the class is at capacity or there are blocking issues.

Subject changes will not be considered once the new classes start in Transition week.
