Celebrating the Achievements of Year 12 VCE-VM Students

As our Year 12 VCE-VM students complete their coursework and prepare to graduate, we want to take this opportunity to acknowledge their achievements.

The VCE-VM pathway provides students with valuable hands-on and practical learning experiences. Many students have extended their studies through VET and TAFE programs, gaining nationally recognised qualifications. Based on Australian Higher Education Standards (AHEGS), these certificates sit one to four levels above a standard VCE, meaning our graduating VM students are leaving school with significant and highly practical credentials that will serve them well in the future.

Throughout the year, this cohort has demonstrated resilience, teamwork, and adaptability while achieving important academic and personal milestones. We are proud of their efforts and wish them every success as they take the next steps into further study, training, or the workplace.

Last Thursday the 9th of October, some students for Yr. 11 VM volunteered in a new program to Vermont students called Youngsters. Co. On this day the students made their way to Vermont South Library and welcomed seniors that were finding it difficult to work their Mobile Phones, iPad or even Laptops. Yr. 11 VM loved hearing life stories and advice from the seniors and were able to help the seniors understand how to use their devices.

We got very good feedback from seniors that they were very grateful for our help and Tech savvy brains. We can’t wait for the next session!
