FIRST LEGO League Challenge

This year, we have three Vermont Secondary College teams participating in the FIRST LEGO League Challenge.  

Many thanks to our amazing families and staff at our feeder schools Vermont Primary School and Rangeview Primary School in assisting us to get this up and running. Teams of Year 7 and 8 students have been meeting twice a week to work on the challenge ‘unearthed’.  As part of the challenge, they have been investigating potential areas to create innovative solutions in the field of archaeology, including consulting experts in the field, whilst building and coding robots to complete various missions as part of their ‘robot game’. Along the way, they need to document their robot design process and demonstrate core values in everything they do, including Discovery, Innovation, Impact, Inclusion, Teamwork, and FUN! 

Our teams participated in a full FLL intensive workshop day at this start of this term, and you can see them in action in the photos below.
