Year 8 News  

It was wonderful to see so many parents and students attend our Learning Conferences in the final week of Term 3. These conversations were a valuable opportunity to celebrate progress and set goals for the rest of the year. We are very proud of the effort and behaviour shown by most Year 8 students, as reflected in their Term 3 reports.

Term 4 is now off to a fantastic start! Many classes have been taking advantage of the beautiful sunny weather by heading outdoors for Geography fieldwork at Blackburn Lake. It’s been great to see students enjoying hands-on learning experiences and working together in the local environment.

We’d also like to acknowledge how well students have been coping with the building works currently taking place in the Year 8 area. Thank you for your patience and positive attitude. Please remember to stay clear of all fenced-off construction zones to help keep everyone safe.

A reminder that Friendship Request Forms for next year’s core subject classes (across all three houses) are now available online. Please ensure these are completed by Friday, 24 October. If you have any questions or need assistance, please speak with your Student Manager.
