From the Year 3 Classroom

What a great job all the Grade 3’s did during our weeks of Swimming Lessons!
A huge thank you to Mr O’Dwyer and his team of swimming teachers for making such an important skill enjoyable.
Good luck to all Grade 3 students on Thursday for their very first swimming carnival- have fun!
Just a reminder that library is on Tuesday rotations between the 3 Grades, however students can arrange a time with their teacher if they need to return a book before their class’s turn.
| WEEK 5 | 3S |
| WEEK 6 | 3C |
| WEEK 7 | 3E |
We sadly farewell Mrs Newton this week from our Grade 3 space as she embarks on her very exciting journey beginning parenthood. We can’t wait for her to come visit us with her new bundle next term sometime. We warmly welcome Miss Emma Sinclair into our learning space and look forward to having her for the remainder of 2026.
In Reading, we continue to enjoy our Matilda text and the hilarious antics of Miss Trunchbull, Matilda and her rotten parents! This week’s vocabulary words include: pleasant, astonishing, loathes, casually, inhabit and vast.
PLEASE REMEMBER YOUR READING DIARIES EVERY FRIDAY!
Year 3’s enjoyed Pancake Day
