Grade 2/3/4

Weeks 6 and 7 have gone by extremely fast, not only because we had a long weekend in the middle of it, but also because so much learning and fun has been happening.
In Maths, we have been continuing with our addition and subtraction, with the Grade 2s stretching their equations to three- and four-digit numbers, and the Grade 3s and 4s extending to five-, six- and even seven-digit numbers! Million, wow!
In English, we've finished writing the drafts of our narrative stories and it the coming weeks, we will be looking at putting this all together and publishing. In the meantime, we are moving onto the persuasive genre.
In Inquiry, we have been learning about feelings and how to recognise how others are feeling and what responses we can make to ensure we are nurturing strong and lasting friendships!
In Religion, we were lucky to have Mrs Zaar come in and run a wonderful interactive session about the timeline of the story of God, growth, and the past and the future.
Our Grade 3 students have completed NAPLAN this week - congratulations to Eliza and Scarlett!
With only two and a half weeks to go, we are ready for a busy and fulfilling end to the term!
