Principal's Message

Dear Community,
Week 7 has been a short week but an eventful one! Well done to our Grade 3 and 5 students who took part in the NAPLAN Writing and Reading assessments. We are proud of your efforts and care in completing these assessments. We look forward to the Conventions of Language and Numeracy assessments next week.
Week 8 is looking to be a another eventful one with the following taking place. Here is a day by day overview to guide us through the week.
Monday 16th:
- Open morning for current and prospective families (9am - 10:30am)
Tuesday 17th:
- Feast day of St Patrick's - wear a touch of green!
- NAPLAN for Grades 3 and 5 students: Conventions of Language (9am)
- St Patrick's day activities run by the student leaders at 2:15pm
Wednesday 18th:
- NAPLAN for Grades 3 and 5 students: Numeracy (9am)
- MACS Media team taking photos and videos (if your child doesn't have permission, they will not be included in the footage - please reach out to the office if you require another permission form in the case your have misplaced this!)
Thursday 19th:
- Open morning for current and prospective families (9am - 10:30am)
Friday 20th:
- Grade 5/6 Faith leaders heading to St Patrick's Cathedral for Mass with Julie Z and Barb
- NAPLAN Catch up
- Grade 5/6 Nalderun Performance at the Castlemaine State Festival (4:30pm - 7pm) - meet Blythe at St Mary's Hall
Baby News - Congratulations Vaz Family!
We have some very special news from the Vaz family - they welcomed baby boy Buan on Sunday 8th March. We are so happy for the Vaz family and congratulate Anushka, Clive, big sister Eira and big brother Dion! What a beautiful addition to the family. Please keep the Vaz family in your prayers as they navigate and adjust to this next chapter with baby Buan.
Open Mornings - Monday 16th and Thursday 19th
A reminder that our open mornings will take place at 9am - 10:30am on Monday and Thursday next week. Please feel free to join us for these mornings and share with family and friends. The mornings are for both current and prospective families.
