StringFest

On Thursday 28 May from 9:00am – 2:00pm, the Nossal string students attended StringFest at Mentone Girls’ Secondary College, alongside students from other schools including Berwick College, Mac.Rob and Mentone Girls. 

Accompanied by Mr Cullen, we spent the day rehearsing three pieces together with a wonderful conductor, we worked on the pieces "Momentous", "The Armed See the Light" and "Allegro Volante". 

It was an amazing experience to play with other young musicians, a full day dedicated to ensemble and the results were wonderful to hear. 

Overall, StringFest was an enjoyable and rewarding experience, many thanks to Mr Cullen and our musicians: Edward Marshall, Chi Huynh, Emma Qu, Yuhan Tang, Harleen Kaur, Nicholas Liaw and Sophy Lee.
