Swinburne Study Expo – Tuesday 2 June and Wednesday 10 June
If you’re thinking about studying at Swinburne, their upcoming Study Expo is your chance to explore courses, get expert advice and find the right path for you. Browse options across all study levels – undergraduate to postgraduate to TAFE and UniLink – and talk one-on-one with the people who know them best. Swinburne’s Study Expos will be held at their Hawthorn campus on Tuesday 2 June from 4:30–6:00pm and the Croydon campus on Wednesday 10 June from 5:30–7:00pm. At these Expos you can:
- Chat one-on-one with academics and teaching staff about your plans and career outcomes
- Tour the Swinburne campuses and facilities
- Find out what your first semester looks like – course content, subjects, majors and electives
- Get prerequisites and application steps for your situation

University of Sydney Online Interstate Info Evening – Thursday 18 June, 6pm to 7:30pm
Join this online event to get expert advice on applying to the University of Sydney as an interstate student. Designed for domestic prospective students in Years 10–12 studying outside NSW, as well as their caregivers, this session will help you understand your options and feel confident about your path to university. The Sydney Future Students team, current USYD students, and a Universities Admissions Centre (UAC) representative will guide you through:
- choosing the right course and study pathway
- how interstate Year 12 qualifications are assessed
- applying through UAC, including key dates and tips
- admission pathways, entry schemes and scholarships
- accommodation, student support services and student life at Sydney
You’ll also hear firsthand from a current student about their transition to university and what it’s really like to study and live in Sydney. The final 30 minutes will be dedicated to a live Q&A, with questions answered in real time by university staff and UAC. Register here.
Charles Sturt University online engineering information night – Thursday 25 June at 6pm
Students interested in a future in engineering are invited to attend Charles Sturt University’s upcoming online Engineering Information Night. The session will provide an overview of what it's like to be a student engineer at Charles Sturt studying either civil, electrical or mechanical engineering. You will also learn about Charles Sturt’s distinctive 2+2 program structure, which combines academic study with paid industry cadetships and practical experience throughout the degree. Students and families will hear directly from academics, current students and graduates while exploring career pathways, scholarships, application options and the support available during their studies. Discover ACU Melbourne: Nursing, Midwifery and Paramedicine – Tuesday 30 June, 9:45am to 12pm
Join this free Discover ACU Melbourne: Nursing, Midwifery and Paramedicine event, designed especially for Year 10–12 students. Step into ACU’s ambulance simulator, nursing wards and maternity labs and work with their expert academics in an interactive workshop. Attendees are welcome to stay back at the end of the event for an optional campus tour. Places are limited. Register here.
Experience La Trobe – Tuesday 30 June, 10am to 2pm
Experience La Trobe gives you the chance to experience uni for a day by taking part in fun and dynamic workshops led by lecturers. Secondary school students and their parents are invited to get hands-on and exploring a study area, discovering what being a uni student is really like.
Students will attend workshops, lectures and seminars, and meet the academics who could become their teachers. They’ll also get to chat with current uni students about what life at La Trobe is really like, what to expect and the best tips for first year.

Monash Art, Design and Architecture Experience day workshops – 30 June and 1 July
Gain a better understanding of different art mediums, design thinking approaches, and architecture studios through these hands-on experience days at our Monash Caulfield campus. The Fine Art Folio-building Intensive workshop helps Year 11 and 12 students prepare their folio submissions. The workshops on Architecture making and Designing for good are offered for Year 10-12 students to learn more about these disciplines.
You'll also find out what it's like to be a student for a day, meet MADA staff and explore the workshop spaces you'll get to work in as a student at Monash. Discover ACU Melbourne: Allied Health, Biomedical Science and Sports Science – 7 July
Join this free Discover ACU Melbourne: Allied Health, Biomedical Science and Sports Science event, designed especially for Year 10 – 12 students. Explore life as an ACU Melbourne student and participate in hands-on workshops led by their academic staff. Attendees are welcome to stay back at the end of the event for an optional campus tour. A Day at Melbourne 2026 for Years 11 and 12 students – Thursday 9 July at 9am
Experience a taste of life as a uni student exploring the campus, discover new areas of study and find out more about what could be in store for you at the University of Melbourne. Throughout the day you'll have the chance to take part in two workshops, hear from a panel of current students, speak to staff one-on-one about your study interests and discover their broad range of student clubs and societies.
Students must register to secure your place at this event. When registering you’ll have the option to select your choices for each workshop. This event is for students only. Parents are welcome at the course expo from 1.30pm. View event details and register here.
A Day at Melbourne 2026 for Years 9 and 10 students – Friday 10 July at 9am
We invite Year 9 and 10 students to step onto campus and experience what it’s really like to study at university. Join interactive workshops, hear from students who were once in your position, and explore different study areas and pathways into higher education.
Parents are also invited to attend dedicated sessions designed to help them support their teen in preparation for VCE.
