Time to Reset, Recharge and Reconnect

As we come to the end of another busy term, it is important to take a moment to recognise all that our students, staff and families have achieved. School life is full of learning, friendships, challenges, successes and growth, and by this point in the term everyone has worked incredibly hard.

The upcoming holidays provide an important opportunity to pause, reset and recharge.

In a world that often feels busy and fast-paced, wellbeing is supported through simple things: getting enough sleep, spending time outdoors, connecting with family and friends, enjoying physical activity, reading for pleasure, being creative and taking time away from screens. These everyday experiences help children return to school feeling refreshed, settled and ready to learn.

The break is also a wonderful opportunity to reconnect. Whether it is sharing a meal together, playing a board game, exploring a local park, visiting family, catching a train into Melbourne for an adventure, or simply enjoying a slower morning, these moments help strengthen relationships and create lasting memories.

We encourage our students to be proud of their efforts this term. Learning is not always easy, and growth often comes from persevering through challenges. The holidays are a chance to celebrate achievements, reflect on progress and prepare for the opportunities that next term will bring.

As a school community, we know that children thrive when they feel safe, connected and supported. Thank you to our families for the care, encouragement and partnership you provide every day. Together, we help create the conditions for our students to flourish.

We wish all of our families a safe, restful and enjoyable holiday break. We hope you find time to recharge your batteries, enjoy the company of loved ones and return next term feeling refreshed and ready for a new chapter of learning.

Take care, stay safe and enjoy the holidays.
