Student Representative Council

The Student Representative Council, better known as the SRC, consists of members from Years 8 to 12 meeting every second Tuesday to bring about positive change as the ‘Voice of the Students.’

This year, we have put up a ‘Have Your Say’ form to listen to student suggestions. Students can access the form via the Daily Bulletin. We’ve reviewed all your feedback and presented several points to College Leadership. We are pleased to share that the issue with the lack of mirrors in both Magdeburg bathrooms has been addressed. Thank you to everyone who has been vocal about their concerns. We are currently discussing other suggestions with the appropriate College staff and hope to have similar positive updates soon.

On a more exciting note, we have two Year group socials this term!

Year 8s, get ready for ‘The Get Down’, happening next Week Tuesday, August 27. Year 11s, your Dinner Dance is happening on Thursday, September 19. The SRC has been working hard to organize some really fun nights that we can’t wait to show you. So, please check your messages and grab your tickets via Consent2Go as soon as possible.

Don’t worry Year 10s -- we haven’t forgotten you! Your River Cruise is still set to sail next term.

Lastly, the SRC is looking for new members! If you want to help people and lead positive change, then we want you! Join us from Term 4 this year to Term 3, 2025.

Nomination forms are available in the Careers Centre and will be due Week 8 Monday, September 2.

We’re keen to hear more from the Year 7s and 11s, as your groups are currently missing out! All students are welcome; we’re a team, and together we can really make great things happen. If you would like more information, visit our daily pop-up booths around the school in the coming days or speak to a current SRC member.
