Lions Youth of the Year

This year, Year 11 student Noah H took on the challenge of participating in the Lions Youth of the Year competition, an opportunity that encourages young people to develop their confidence, communication and public speaking skills.

As part of the competition, Noah participated in an interview and delivered a public speech on a topic of his choosing. Noah chose to speak about immigration giving him the opportunity to explore a contemporary issue and present his ideas and arguments to an audience. 

One of the highlights of the experience for Noah was having the opportunity to step outside of his comfort zone and challenge himself by speaking confidently in front of an audience and putting his communication skills into practice.

Taking part in opportunities such as Youth of the Year allows students to develop valuable skills and experiences that extend well beyond the classroom. We are proud of Noah for putting himself forward, taking on the challenge and representing our school.
