Mountain Biking

In March, the Chev mountain bike team attended The Willo XC race. We had 15 riders enter the junior 15km races in various age groups. James Williamson was a Chev past student and a World Champion mountain bike rider who unfortunately passed away during a stage race. We are very proud to ride in his honour at this event each year.

The event was held at Coondoo State Forest in Nowra on some amazing trails that get maintained by the wonderful volunteers at the SCUM MTB club. Rocky Trail Entertainment again ran a smooth event that makes entry and racing so easy for the staff and riders involved.

All of the riders on our team raced well, we had some great results:

U15 Female - Kody D 3rd place

U15 Male - Lucas P 2nd place

U17 Male - Benjamin A 2nd place and Benjamin Az 3rd place

The team had a great day and represented themselves, their families and their College with pride. A special thanks must go to the parents who braved 5am alarms to drive their students to the race on a Sunday morning.

ISA Swimming

A large contingent of swimmers represented Chev at the ISA Swimming Carnival at Sydney Olympic Park on 15 March 2023. We are so proud of the team, achieving some outstanding results. The boys team were elevated to Division 1 this year and did extremely well.

CAPALoT - End of Term Concert

It was wonderful to see our talented students in full swing at the CAPALoT end of term concert.

The Sacre Coeur Centre was full, and the entertainment was outstanding.

Well done to all involved.

ISA Finals

We had some fantastic results in our ISA sporting finals this year! Our Junior Boys Touch Football team won their ISA Final 25-4. Our congratulations go to the team and Coaches Lane and Mackenzie. Our Junior Girls Basketball team also won their Final with a score of 32-22. Congratulations to the team and Coach Binks.

While our other teams didn't come away with Finals wins, they all played with pride and showed true Chev spirit throughout the season. Well done!
