Year 10

With the end of term drawing near, our Year 10 Student Leaders have been busy with several projects including Year 10 Lip Sync, ‘Lockdown Letters’ and a thorough list of things to do in remote learning. Their thoughtfulness and enthusiasm has been appreciated by all.

On Thursday 16 September the whole level was involved in a ‘Jobs Skills Seminar Day’. With Futures Week cancelled, it was necessary to present the sessions online. These sessions were chosen by popular choice using the results from our original sign-up for the face-to-face day. The sessions included topics such as, Job Searching Skills, Interviewing Skills and Managing Your Finances. The day concluded with a session focussing on mindfulness.

Brigidine Day is arguably the best day on the College Calendar. This year it looked a little different, but the spirit of the day continued. No more so than that of the Brigid Awards. Congratulations to the following students who were nominated by their peers for the very prestigious Brigid Award. This is a great honour.
