         🌟 Building Foundations – 2027 Foundation Transition Program 🌟

                             Is your child starting Foundation in 2027? 

We’d love to welcome your family to St Mary’s School Rushworth for our Building Foundations Transition Program.

Our Come & Try Morning will be held on Friday 18 September from 8.40am to 10.50am. It’s a lovely chance for children to meet our staff, explore the school and begin feeling comfortable in their new surroundings.

(Please note: there will also be a Parent Information session in the Staffroom during this Come & Try Morning). 

Transition mornings will follow on:

 Friday 23rd October

 Friday 6th November

 Friday 20th November

 Friday 4th December

 from 8.30am–11.30am

Our Statewide Transition Day session will be held on Tuesday 8th December from 8.30am to 1.35pm.

               Lunch orders are provided by the Rushworth Bakery on Mondays only.

               Correct money is required as no change is given.

Please note students should only be ordering items on the price list below.

                                         VOLUNTEERING AT ST MARYS

               To uphold our commitment to child safety, ALL Volunteers are required to review and acknowledge our Child Safe Code of Conduct, Staff & Students Professional Boundaries Policy and Photography & Video Policy and Procedures. Additionally, Volunteers must complete a Volunteer Registration form and successfully complete the CESL School Volunteer Induction before commencing their role as a Volunteer.

We deeply value the contributions of our Volunteers and appreciate your support in maintaining a culture of care and protection. Together, we can continue to provide a safe and nurturing space for every child to thrive.

                                                               SCHOOL DROP OFF

Please be advised that the safe drop off point for students before school is using the hall car park and crossing on Hume Street. Parking on Southam Street is reserved for staff and is a no standing/bus zone.         

                                                                 CAR PARK

When entering and leaving the carpark, please be mindful of other vehicles and pedestrians.  In the morning we ask that parents park in the carpark and walk their child/ren across the road to the back gate. 

After school the teacher on duty will walk the students to the tennis court gate.  Parents can then collect their child from the fence. NO child is to walk through the car park without an adult.

We also ask that all cars are parked facing the south (bush) and that they leave via behind the school hall onto Reed St.  

This is to alleviate the busyness of the Hume St entrance. 

You are asked not to park near the tennis fence close to the entrance

 to the carpark as our students wait in that area.
