CELEBRATE SPORTING STUDENTS SUCCESS'
At St Nicholas Primary School, keeping our students safe, valued, respected and cared for, as well as protected, is our highest priority. In response to the rapid rise of generative AI and the risks associated with online image harvesting and manipulation, we are updating how we share student photos and names on our public social media channels.
What’s changing?
To safeguard our students' privacy and long-term digital footprint, you will notice a shift toward wider-angle group photos, reduced close-up individual shots, and the removal of full student names on public platforms.
We know how much our community loves celebrating daily school life, and we remain dedicated to sharing the achievements of our students. However, adapting to emerging digital risks allows us to keep our students safe while continuing to showcase their incredible learning journeys. We will still be highlighting our student's sporting success and will continue shining a light on our St Nichs Legends!!!
POLDING ATHLETICS- GLENDALE

The following students are representing the Armidale Catholic Schools Athletics team at the Polding Athletics trials in Glendale: Ella H- 800m, 100m, 200m, 1500m; Mia R- 800m, 1500m; Henry B- 800m, 1500m; Levi C- 800m, 100m; Max C- Highjump, 800m, 100m, 200m, Snr Boys Relay; Emilia B- High Jump; Hudson Y- Long jump, 200m, Discus, Snr Boys Relay; Maximus H- 100m; Ethan W- 1500m; Arie R- Discus; Cooper C- Snr Boys Relay and Quade H- Snr Boys Relay.
NETBALL- END OF REGULAR SEASON WRAP UP
Dear Netball Families,
We've completed the 2026 netball season and are deep into finals territory!
Unfortunately, the Year 5 Thunderbirds and Year 5 Fever both lost their first round of finals, but they do get to play this weekend to get into the grand finals! We wish them all the best and know they will represent St Nicholas with pride! Go support them at the Dome at 1pm!
A massive well done to the 10 Years (Year 4) Ball Hoggers who came Runner-Up out of 11 teams! They only lost one game over the season. This age group does keep a competition ladder, but do not play finals.
The 2026 season saw us take the court with 10 teams! We had a total of 102 players from our Kindergarten Skills group to our Year 6 players.

A massive thank you to our coaches and people who just stepped in and helped.
The End of Year Presentation will be held early next term, most likely a Friday afternoon at 3:45pm at school in Week 3. Details to come.

We love celebrating the achievements of our St Nicholas athletes. If your child or team has competed in a weekend game, gala day, or representative trial, we want to hear about it!
