FROM THE PRINCIPAL

Dear Parents and carers,

Father's Day

Last Friday we celebrated Father’s Day at St Nicholas with Doughnuts with Dad. Making the most of the warmer spring mornings, it was wonderful to welcome our dads, grandads and special friends into school for coffee, doughnuts and games on the oval and share conversation. I hope that all our dads and special people also enjoyed a special day on Sunday.

P& F Trivia Night

This Saturday night the PT&F will host our Trivia Night on the Holy Family Courtyard at School. Our Social Events committee on the P&F have been busily preparing questions, prizes and activities and we look forward to what I’m sure will be a great night of laughs. I would like to thank our PT&F for their organisation and planning activities that bring our parent community together. As of this morning there is still one table left. So if there are any more overly competitive and trivia loving community members out there who would love to attend, please contact our school office to secure the last table.

Please bring a jacket as it will cool off as soon as the sun goes down and we encourage people to bring plastic cups to minimise the risk of glass breaking in the courtyard. The night starts at 5:00pm, we look forward to seeing you all there.

My School Survey

A sincere thank you to every parent and guardian who took the time to complete our recent My School survey. The survey window has now closed. We know how busy family life can be, and we appreciate you dedicating your time to share your insight, reflections, and ideas with us.

As key stakeholders in our school community, your voice is essential. As we constantly emphasise, education is a true partnership between home and school, and your feedback provides us with a clear picture of what we are doing well and where we can continue to grow. Whether you highlighted areas of strength or offered constructive suggestions for improvement, every single response helps shape our decision-making into the future.

Have a great week everyone

Mr Peter Flynn.
