Art Club
Ms Goldsworthy
Art Club has had a vibrant and creative start to the year. Students have been working collaboratively on a special Harmony Day banner, which is now proudly displayed in the school library as part of Harmony Day (21st of March), while also aligning with Cultural Diversity Week (21st-29th of March). The banner celebrates inclusivity, respect, and cultural diversity - values that are at the heart of both Harmony Day and our school community.
Throughout the term, students have contributed to a variety of creative ideas, experimenting with different materials and techniques while building confidence in their artistic abilities. It has been fantastic to see students share ideas, support one another, and take pride in their work.
As we move into next term, Art Club looks forward to continuing to support school events and taking on new creative projects. Upcoming opportunities will include contributing to the school production through set design and promotional materials, as well as collaborating with Rainbow Space to create visual content for IDAHOBIT Day. These projects will allow students to explore new artforms, work as a team, and create work with real purpose and impact within the school community.
Art Club runs every Tuesday at lunchtime in MPA3 and is open to all year levels. It continues to be a safe and welcoming space where students can relax, connect with others, and express themselves creatively. We look forward to welcoming new members next term.
